CleanSheetHQ publishes step-by-step Excel and Power Query guides for cleaning messy data. Every guide here follows the same rule: if we can’t reproduce it on a real workbook, we don’t publish it.
How we test
- Each method is built on a real workbook, not a theoretical example.
- Formulas and Power Query steps are reproduced in Excel before publishing, including the edge cases (blank cells, duplicate keys, version differences) that usually break a quick fix.
- Screenshots on this site are real captures from that testing process — not stock photos or generated images.
- When a method only works in certain Excel versions, we say so, and show the fallback for older versions.
What’s on this site right now
CleanSheetHQ is early and focused: a small, growing set of guides on data cleanup, text cleanup, formulas, and Power Query. We’d rather publish fewer guides that hold up under testing than a large number that don’t.
